This week, as Hollywood prepares for the 98th Academy Awards®, Ocean Baker, the visionary artist and founder of the acclaimed streetwear label Natsukashii Ink, will be a featured guest at the prestigious Heather Marianna’s Enchant Celebrity Gifting Suite. Baker is attending alongside Deb Drummond and the powerhouse collective of the 262 Women’s Project, celebrating the intersection of high-end design and global female empowerment.
Baker, a 22-year-old self-taught designer from Vancouver, is the creative force behind the striking cover of the landmark anthology, Mission Accepted: 262 Women Entrepreneurs, Ultrapreneurs, Creatives & Media – Rock Legacy & Tell-All. The book, which has become a symbol of global sisterhood and “gumption,” will be hand-gifted to Hollywood’s elite, including Oscar® nominees and industry tastemakers.
Known for his unique fusion of Japanese tattoo aesthetics, hand-drawn illustrations, and “cultural nostalgia,” Baker’s work has quickly become a staple in the celebrity gifting circuit, previously appearing at both the Emmys and earlier Oscar suites.
“Being here in Los Angeles with the Women of 262 is a full-circle moment,” says Ocean Baker. “This project is about more than just a book cover; it’s about the energy of women rising together. To see Natsukashii Ink alongside these incredible leaders at the biggest awards show in the world is a testament to what happens when art and mission align.”
The 262 Women’s Project, led by media producer Deb Drummond, continues its five-year international tour, with the Oscars® serving as a high-visibility platform to amplify the stories of the 262 women featured within its pages. The presence of Natsukashii Ink brings a fresh, artistic edge to the movement, proving that the next generation of creatives is ready to lead the way.
